We made MOULDZAP to tackle mould properly, using a chlorine-free, bio-based formula that helps break down mould and mildew where they build up. It’s designed for bathrooms, showers, grout, tiles and damp-prone areas, giving you a powerful clean without the toxic smell or heavy chemical hit. Spray it, let it work, then wipe or rinse away. A smarter way to clean mould, with better peace of mind for your family, pets and the planet.

Instructions

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Add one sachet into a 500 ml spray bottle.
2. Fill three-quarters with warm water and shake well.
3. Leave until the blue colour turns clear.
4. Spray directly onto mould.
5. Wait 15 minutes & wipe with a cloth

  • Will the mould come back?

    Please follow the instructions correctly when preparing. MOULDZAP works differently from traditional bleach-based cleaners. While bleach typically removes surface stains, it doesn't fully eliminate the underlying mould spores — which is why regrowth is common.

    MOULDZAP is powered by an advanced formula that generates in situ peracetic acid, allowing it to break down and digest mould spores at their source. It also remains active on the treated surface for longer than chlorine-based products, continuing to work after application.

    In many cases, this can help keep mould away for up to 9 months, depending on environmental conditions such as moisture and ventilation.

    In short: Bleach treats the surface. MOULDZAP targets the root cause.

  • Is it safe on grout, silicone, and painted surfaces?

    Yes to all three. Unlike bleach, it won't dissolve silicone seals, discolour grout, or strip paint. We specifically formulated it to be tough on mould and gentle on everything else. Please note, this product will not be super effective on mould-affected silicone. All other surfaces it is great.

  • How long does it need to sit?

    Spray, wait 15 minutes, wipe. For stubborn black mould that's been there a while, leave it for 30 minutes or reapply once. You don't need to scrub hard — the formula does the work.

  • Does it have a strong smell?

    No. There's a vinegar scent, nothing chemical. We recommend applying the product to affected areas and leaving for 15–30 minutes. If you've used bleach-based mould sprays before you'll notice the difference immediately — no stinging eyes, no lingering fumes.

  • Will it work on ceiling mould in a steamy bathroom?

    Yes. Spray directly, wait, wipe with a damp cloth. If your bathroom stays damp long-term, you're fighting moisture not mould — improve ventilation at the same time and MOULDZAP will stop the regrowth cycle for good.

    MOULD ZAP

    I have a shower with white subway tiles, floor to ceiling. There’s an orange algae/mould in the water making it very hard to keep the showers white. Mould Zap has cleaned the shower to look brand new, effortlessly with no fumes or toxicity. I love the product. So happy I found it!

    Mould cleaner

    Tried this on bathroom walls and ceiling at Christmas time - walls and ceiling are still clear of mould and look good - easy to use and mould clears quickly and all natural .

    Mould remover

    We removed mould in bathroom at Christmas- and walls are still clean and clear of any mould . There has been a lot of humid hot weather but still no sign of mould. All the thrive no products seem to be excellent and great that they are chemical free but work so well.

    This product is INCREDIBLE!

    I used it on some mould that keeps coming back on my child's wall and it hasn't come back in months. The fact it doesn't use toxic chemicals but probiotics is so good for my family. Highly recommend!
