INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Half-fill a 1 L bottle with water.
2. Add one sachet and shake for 60 seconds.
3. Top up with water and shake again.
4. Squeeze under the toilet rim.
5. Leave for 15 minutes.
6. Lightly brush and flush clean.

    Yes. Toilet Cleaner is fully septic-safe — it's biologically based and breaks down naturally without killing the beneficial bacteria your septic tank needs to work. No chlorine, no phosphates, no harsh surfactants.

  • How is this different from TOILETZAP?

    Use Toilet Cleaner for everyday cleaning and light descaling — it's your weekly workhorse. Use TOILETZAP when you have heavy staining, limescale buildup under the rim and below the water line, or odours that won't shift. Most customers buy both and use them together.

  • How often should I use it?

    For a clean, well-maintained toilet: once or twice a week (allow to sit in the toilet for 4+ hours for best results). If your toilet sees heavy use, daily is fine — it's gentle enough not to damage ceramic, seals, or waxes.

  • Will it actually remove limescale?

    Yes, on light-to-medium limescale. The natural citric acid and probiotics gently dissolve mineral buildup without scratching. For very heavy scale that's been there for years, pair it with TOILETZAP for the first few treatments, then maintain with Toilet Cleaner.

  • Is it safe around kids and pets?

    Yes. No bleach, no ammonia, no choking fumes. If your toddler or dog sneaks a lick off a rim before you've wiped it down, you'll have a nervous moment but not a trip to the hospital. (Still — keep the bottle out of reach, as with any cleaner.)

    Wonderful product

    Toilet Zap and Toilet Cleanser are my favourite cleaning duo at the moment — such an amazing combo! Even after just one use, my toilet has stayed clean for 5 days — no brown build-up at all. And the best part: no harsh fumes, no “crying while cleaning” 😁

    Excellent Product

    Three years ago I transitioned from store bought eco-friendly toilet cleaners to online bio-based ones. All were effective to a degree but Thrive's Toilet Cleaner solution has been the game changer. After the first application it cleaned and descaled our toilet bowls beautifully. And it keeps delivering pristine-looking bowls days after initial application. PS I haven't used the companion TOILETZAP product yet but look forward to getting equally great results under the waterline!

    Superb Product

    I am very pleased to have discovered this product - we are a busy household and maintenance often goes by the wayside. I was surprised to see how much this toilet cleaner was able to remove, given that it sits in the the gentler non-toxic category. I actually feel that it cleans better than the Koh toilet cleaning product. For sensitive noses, the fragrance is fine and doesn't give me a headache. I look forward to trying the other products in the Thrive range.
